(Minghui.org) January 2, 2023 is a public holiday in Ireland. That day, Falun Dafa practitioners went to St. Stephen Green Park in the center of Dublin and did the Dafa exercises. Local practitioners also practice together there every Sunday and teach the exercises to the public.

Although the weather was cold, the air was fresh and the sun was shining. Many people stopped to watch. Some took pictures, and others wanted to learn the exercises.

Practitioners regularly do the exercises at St. Stephen Green Park in Dublin.

Victoria is a Dubliner who joined the practitioners in the park a few months ago. She said, “The first time I did the exercises, I felt that Falun Dafa was so peaceful and the exercises were so gentle.” So she started practicing Falun Dafa. She said that her life has changed a lot these past few months.

Luke and Filipe were strolling through the park and stopped to talk with practitioners. Practitioner Michael showed them the exercises and explained that the book Zhuan Falun guides practitioners in their daily lives. Luke and Filipe then did the exercises with the other practitioners.

After doing the exercises, the young men talked about their experiences. Luke said he was a native Dubliner. He’s seen practitioners on the street before, and he was very interested in learning more about Falun Dafa. After he did the full set of exercises for two hours he said he felt, “comfortable, with strong energy, and that this practice was clean.” He said that the fifth exercise, the meditation, was difficult for him, but he persisted and did all five exercises.

Luke said he was really happy to be able to persevere and do all the exercises. “I often suffer from insomnia, and I will definitely have a good night’s sleep after doing the exercises today,” he said.

Felipe is from Brazil said that he felt peaceful and relaxed after doing the exercises. “This is the first time I’ve heard of Falun Dafa. I finished all five exercises. I could do the full lotus position when we meditated.” He said he was happy to learn the exercises, and said he felt peaceful and relaxed afterwards.

Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. 【明慧网】加入都柏林公园学炼法轮功 民众谈体会

她表示，炼功前她有时候会很忧郁，经常会为一些小事担心，解决了一个问题，又会担心下一个问题。炼功后，她的心情变得开朗，开始积极面对这些问题，而且她觉得自己的生活每天都蒸蒸日上，充满阳光。

【明慧网二零二三年一月七日】二零二三年元月二日是爱尔兰公众假日，爱尔兰部分法轮功学员来到位于都柏林市中心著名的圣·斯蒂芬绿地公园（St. Stephen Green Park），集体炼功。当地的法轮功学员每周日都会在这里炼功，同时向市民介绍功法。

天气虽然很冷，但空气清新，阳光明媚。学员们炼功的身影和周围的环境形成了一道美丽的风景。不少人驻足观看，也有人拍照，更有人来学炼法轮功。

有三个西方民众加入，并随着法轮功学员一起炼功，炼功后，他们也谈了自己的体会。

维多利亚（Victoria）是都柏林人。几个月前加入了公园里的炼功。维多利亚说：“我第一次来公园炼功的时候，觉得法轮功是那么的平和，炼功动作那么的柔美。”所以她也随着法轮功学员开始炼法轮功，这几个月以来她的生活发生了很大变化。

卢克（Luke）和菲利普（Filipe）早早地就来到法轮功学员的炼功点。西方学员麦克（Michael）告诉他们，指导法轮功学员修炼的著作是《转法轮》，并教他们每套功法的动作，然后他俩随着学员们一起炼功。

两个小时的炼功结束后，卢克和菲利普高兴地谈起了他们的体会。卢克自我介绍是都柏林人，他表示以前在街上看到法轮功学员，他对法轮功非常感兴趣。他告诉自己，今天一定要来学法轮功。经过两个小时的炼功，他感觉“非常舒服，也有很强的能量，感觉这个功法很干净”。前四套功法他坚持了下来，第五套功法对卢克还比较困难，但是他尽了自己最大的努力把五套功法都炼完了。

卢克表示，自己开始还没有信心，最后能坚持下来真的很高兴。卢克说：“自己经常会失眠，今天炼完功后回去一定会睡一个好觉。”

菲利普是巴西人。他说：“我从来没有接触过法轮功，今天炼了法轮功，动功全部炼下来了，第五套功法可以直接双盘。”他很高兴今天能学法轮功，他觉得炼完功后很平和，放松了身体，感觉很好。

According to inmates who were released before him, Mr. Li had good health in the prison and it was shocking that he suddenly died, just days before he was to be released. The prison claimed that he died of illness, but didn’t provide any further information to his family.

An 86-year-old Kunming City, Yunnan Province resident died on January 4, 2023, days before he finished serving a four-year term for practicing Falun Gong.

Mr. Li Peigao retired from Yunnan Construction Installation Company as a senior engineer in 1994 and lived alone. Shortly after he learned Falun Gong in March 1996, his chronic diarrhea of over 20 years and the swelling and inflammation of his prostate disappeared. He followed the teachings of Falun Gong, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and became completely healthy and energetic.

After the Chinese communist regime began to persecute Falun Gong in July 1999, Mr. Li was repeatedly targeted for his faith. He was held in a brainwashing center three times, arrested a dozen times, and had his home ransacked seven times. When he wasn’t incarcerated, the police monitored and followed him, tapped his phone, and summoned him for questioning.

Mr. Li’s latest sentencing resulted from his arrest on November 26, 2015 together with two other practitioners, Ms. Ji Fuxian and Ms. He Shuangfeng. Due to his advanced age, he was soon released on bail.

The Xishan District Court held a joint hearing of all three practitioners’ cases on September 8, 2016. Mr. Li recounted how his chronic diarrhea disappeared after practicing Falun Gong and that he tried to be a good person by following Falun Gong’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The judge kept interrupting him and didn’t allow him to finish. He was sentenced to four years on October 8, 2016. Mr. Li appealed with the Kunming City Intermediate Court, which ruled to uphold his original verdict.

The police arrested Mr. Li two more times, on September 15 and November 24, 2018, respectively, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. The police ransacked his home both times and released him hours later.

Mr. Li handed out Falun Gong calendars and pamphlets to others in late November 2018. Officers from Jinbilu Police Station arrested him on November 24 that year. He was released the same evening after officers from Xishan Domestic Security Office ransacked his home.

He was taken to the Yunnan Province Prison to serve time in January 2019 and denied family visitation since.

Past Persecution

A few days after the persecution started, three officers took Mr. Li to Xiba Police Station when he did the Falun Gong exercises outdoors on July 24, 1999. He refused to stop practicing Falun Gong after an officer from Kunming Police Department warned him to renounce his faith. The officer took him home and confiscated his Falun Gong books and exercise tapes.

Two officers broke into Mr. Li’s home when he was meditating in the evening of October 28, 1999. They took him to Xiba Police Station to interrogate him and forced him to sign the deposition.

An officer from Wuhua District Police Department summoned Mr. Li seven times in October 1999 and interrogated him. One time three officers went to his home to question if he still practiced Falun Gong.

Two officers from Kunming City Police Department ransacked his place on November 8, 2000, and confiscated his exercise tape.

Several officers from Binchuan County Police Department in Dali City arrested Mr. Li when he told others about the persecution on March 27, 2001. They interrogated him, ransacked his place, and locked him in Binchuan County Detention Center for a month. He only got to go home after his family paid the officers 2,000 yuan.

Two officers from Kunming City Police Department broke into his home one day in May 2002, and wrote a search warrant right then and there. With the warrant they ransacked his home for three hours. They confiscated his Falun Gong books and literature, a notebook computer, and an audio player. They took him to the police department and two doctors took his blood pressure. His blood pressure became extremely high and he passed out while using the restroom. The police insisted that his blood pressure was stable and interrogated him until midnight. He went home that day but the next few days the officers continued coming to his home to harass him and search his home.

An official from his former employer came to his home and arbitrarily announced that he’d take “temporary custody” of him. Mr. Li had to report to the official if he wanted to leave home. This lasted over a year.

Mr. Li’s former employer, officials from the residential commission, and officers from Wuhua District Domestic Security worked together to put him in a brainwashing center three times in Hangkong Nursing Home in Kunming City.

The Wuhua District 610 Office ordered Mr. Li’s former employer to take him to a nursing home in August 2001. The head of the 610 Office held a ten-day brainwashing session in the nursing home, and twelve Falun Gong practitioners were forced to attend. The practitioners were forced to watch videos that slandered Falun Gong.

Mr. Li’s former coworkers worked with people from the Zhuantang Residential Commission to take him to the nursing home again in August 2003. The practitioners there all attended the previous brainwashing session and refused to renounce Falun Gong.

The 610 Office, Wuhua Procuratorate, and Wuhua Domestic Security Office held a nine-day brainwashing session in the nursing home in July 2005. They coerced Mr. Li to attend.

During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the Chinese communist regime launched a mass arrest of Falun Gong practitioners. Officers from the Daguan Police Station and Wuhua District Domestic Security went to Mr. Li’s home on the evening of June 21, 2008, pretending to want to learn the Falun Gong exercises. One officer dragged him into his bedroom, while the other officers called in a dozen more officers to ransack his place. They confiscated his Falun Gong books, computer, two printers, paper cutters, an e-book reader, and a mobile hard drive. A prosecutor indicted him, and a judge in Kunming City Intermediate Court sentenced him to three years in prison in 2009.

When Mr. Li gave out DVDs with information about Falun Gong in May 2012, he happened to give one to a plainclothes officer. The officer took him to the Chongren Police Station to interrogate him. Other officers ransacked his place. He was released one hour later.

Mr. Li’s next arrest was on March 8, 2013 after being reported for distributing Falun Gong materials. He was released on bail after his family paid a 1,000-yuan bond.

He was arrested again on May 1, 2013, also for distributing Falun Gong materials. He was interrogation in the police station for hours.

【明慧网】八旬高龄获冤刑 昆明李培高出狱前突离世

 

李培高在一九九九年七月中共迫害法轮功学员之后，因为坚持信仰、坚持不懈的向民众讲述法轮大法的真相，多次遭绑架、抄家。以下是李培高老人遭迫害事实：

【明慧网二零二三年二月十六日】（明慧网通讯员云南报道）云南省昆明市法轮功学员李培高老人，原本于二零二三年一月初结束四年冤狱，然而却在即将出狱的前几天，于二零二三年一月四日在云南省第一监狱突然离世，终年86岁。据之前出狱的狱友回忆，李培高老人的身体状况一直良好，对老人突然离世感到错愕、质疑。

李培高老人，一九三七年出生，原云南省建工集团安装股份公司（现改名为云南建投安装股份有限公司）工程师，于一九九四年退休。李培高老人家住安装公司职工宿舍，他的妻子早些年离世，身边又无儿女，常年独居。

老人遭绑架、判刑等迫害事实

二零一五年十一月二十六日，当时78岁的李培高与纪福仙、和双凤三人一同被西山区国保大队、永昌派出所警察绑架、抄家，李培高因年事高被取保候审。

二零一六年九月八日，西山区法院对三位法轮功学员非法开庭，在法庭上李培高老人讲述了自己修炼法轮功的理由：他从小身体很弱，肠胃不好，拉肚子拉了二十多年，腿软，走路经常走着走着就蹲下去了。炼功不长时间，这些症状就都消失了，从此身体健康，浑身有劲，走路走多远都不累。同时，他按照李洪志师父《转法轮》的要求，按真善忍的标准做一个好人，淡泊了名利，时时处处与人为善。在法庭上李培高老人都是表达自己对法轮大法、对李洪志师父的感恩和讲述法轮功真相，他说话经常被法官敲槌打断。最后只好在开庭结束后，把自己所写的信交给法官。但是，法官苟有祥却仍不顾事实与法律，于二零一六年十月八日对李培高等三位法轮功学员非法判刑。

李培高被非法判刑四年。他上诉至昆明市中级法院，遗憾的是，中院仍维持了一审的邪恶判决。二零一九年一月初，李培高老人被昆明市西山区公安分局、西山区国保大队、永昌派出所警察劫持到云南省第一监狱关押。

李培高原本于二零二三年一月初结束四年冤狱，然而却在即将出狱的前几天，于二零二三年一月四日在云南省第一监狱被迫害离世。监狱对外称李培高老人因病去世。目前真实死因不明，需进一步调查。之前明慧网报道已有多例法轮功学员在即将出狱前突然在监狱内突然死亡。

李培高一九九九年七月后遭迫害事实

李培高在一九九九年七月中共迫害法轮功学员之后，因为坚持信仰、坚持不懈的向民众讲述法轮大法的真相，多次遭绑架、抄家。以下是李培高老人遭迫害事实：

一九九九年七月二十四日早晨，李培高在省委炼功点炼功，被三个警察绑架到西坝派出所，又将他拉回家抄家，非法抄家的警察是五华国保大队的马迎辉和李占军。

一九九九年十月二十八日晚，李培高正在家里炼功，被闯上门的两个警察绑架到西坝派出所非法审问。

一九九九年十一月，昆明市五华公安分局政保科警察王力志多次将李培高叫到他的办公室问还炼不炼法轮功。第四次，王力志带了两个警察上门骚扰李培高，问他还炼不炼法轮功。每次李培高都给警察讲真相，叫他们要善待法轮功学员，将来会得福报的。

二零零零年十一月八日，昆明市公安局一科警察李国忠、王朝凤闯到李培高家非法抄家。

二零零一年三月二十七日，云南省大理州公安局、大理宾川县公安局、云南省公安厅、昆明市五华分局一众警察闯到李培高家非法抄家，之后宾川县公安局警察赵胜、杨洪、段德彬、吴银东等将李培高绑架到宾川县看守所非法关押到四月二十五日，勒索2000元。

二零零一年八月，李培高被单位的两个人拉到五华区“610”在昆明市航天疗养院办的洗脑班，迫害了十天，李培高拒绝写保证书。当时五华区共被绑架去十二个法轮功学员。

二零零三年八月，李培高又被单位保卫科和篆塘居委会人员拉到五华区“610”洗脑班迫害。那一次有十位法轮功学员被送到洗脑班强制洗脑。地点依然是在昆明市航天疗养院。

二零零五年七月，李培高又被五华区“610”主任赵某、五华区检察院魏某五华国保大队练学腾等绑架到航天疗养院洗脑班，被迫害九天。

二零零八年六月二十一日晚十点左右，李培高在家中被大观派出所、五华国保大队练学腾等警察绑架、抄家。后被昆明市检察院、昆明市中级法院非法判刑三年。李培高于二零一一年二月二十二日从云南省第一监狱出狱。

二零一二年五月的一天，李培高在昆明市金碧路向世人赠送神韵光碟，送给了一个便衣警察，这个便衣就将他带到崇仁派出所审讯，之后派出所还到他家里非法抄家。通过李培高老人不断的讲真相，派出所一个多小时就让他回家了。

二零一二年十一月十三日，云南省第一监狱教育科三个狱警和西坝社区主任金某闯到李培高老人的家骚扰，教育科副科长李某威胁老人再看法轮功的书就还要把他抓进去（监狱）。李培高不为所动，就是跟警察讲真相。

二零一三年三月八日，李培高在昆明王家桥附近向人赠送真相光碟遭人恶告，被绑架到王家桥派出所，国保大队的马斌、马迎辉将李培高带到昆明市大观派出所，让家人交1000元保证金后取保候审。

二零一三年五月一日上午八点二十分左右，李培高在昆明市滇池路向有缘人赠送神韵光碟，被警察徐云鹏绑架到新村派出所非法审问，他于下午一点左右回家。

二零一八年九月十五日下午两点，李培高老人在发真相资料讲真相救人时，遭到便衣警察报警，被金碧路派出所警察绑架到所里，单车上的真相资料被抢走。随后他被西山区国保大队两个警察强行带回家非法抄家，李培高被非法扣押到晚上一点半，才回家。

二零一八年十一月二十四日下午，李培高在巡津街盘龙江边的堤岸上发真相日历小册子时，被金碧路派出所警察绑架，西山区国保警察上门非法抄家。他于当天晚上八点回家。

在中共邪党迫害法轮功的这二十多年里，李培高老人从来没有停止过向民众讲真相、送资料，已经不知道有多少次他因为讲真相或赠送资料而被绑架到派出所，被抄家，被罚款，受到各种威胁、骚扰。明慧网上曝光出的仅仅是一部分。但是，李培高凭着对法轮大法的坚定信念，担当起了一个大法弟子救度一方众生的伟大责任，坚持不懈的向民众讲真相，赠光碟，送资料，他和千千万万法轮功学员一样，用自己的善心、恒心感动了无数被谎言蒙蔽的世人。

It truly was a miracle! After being tormented for so long and exhausting every medical treatment, he was cured by only listening to Dafa lectures! Our entire family is deeply grateful for Master’s saving grace!

(Minghui.org) I have practiced Falun Dafa for 23 years. My older sister and her daughter are Dafa practitioners too. My niece’s son developed a stubborn skin disease when he was only a few days old. His mom and grandma kept playing Master’s audio lectures to him and the disease was gone when he turned one.

In honor of the 22nd World Falun Dafa Day on May 13, 2021, I’d like to share my grandnephew’s story to express our deep gratitude to Master.

7-Month-Old Suffered a Severe Skin Disease

Within a few days after my niece gave birth to her son, some red bumps began to appear on the boy’s body. My niece and her husband did not pay close attention in the beginning. Later, the condition became more and more serious, and the child was so tormented by the intense itch on his skin that he rarely slept and cried day and night.

As time went on, bumps grew all over his body, on the head, face, hands, feet, stomach, back, and even on his genitals. Anyone who looked at it would have been scared. The bumps oozed out fluid and wherever it flew, new bumps would grow. The broken skin would form thick scabs. The scabs fell off layer by layer. After the thick scabs dried up, it would crack and ooze out blood.

In late March 2020, when the baby was seven months old, both my niece and her husband quit their jobs and moved back in with my sister so more people were available to take care of the child, who needed around-the-clock care. The adults listened to the child’s heartbreaking cries every day.

Later, my sister and my niece and her husband also developed one or two bumps on their arms, but they did not spread. These few bumps made them feel firsthand the unspeakable pain that the baby was enduring.

My sister described that it was intensely itchy as well as painful, as if a needle was piercing deeply into the flesh. People with medical knowledge said that such skin disease not only made sufferers itchy on the skin but also caused nerve pain. The painful and itchy sensation is unbearable.

Because the bumps were itchy and painful, the child slept restlessly, crying and fussing. In order to prevent him from scratching and breaking his skin, his parents clutched his hands tightly, day and night. The poor child, as if tortured, could do nothing but cry.

The child was tormented by this strange skin disease since birth, and his parents also suffered with him. They both felt worn out due to lack of sleep.

When we saw the baby after my niece moved back to our hometown, we were shocked, having never seen such a serious condition before. We could not tell what the baby looked like – he was as if disfigured, with his face covered with scabs. Our hearts were all broken looking at the poor infant and his helpless eyes, listening to his heartbreaking cries and watching him struggle.

When the child was nine months old, his condition got worse. The adults had to carry him day and night. The baby must always remain on his back while sleeping, and the adults, while lying on each side of the baby, would hold on to his hands hard for fear that he would scratch his skin. Sometimes when the adults were not careful and let go of his hands, he would scratch his head or face to the point of bleeding. He would be covered by blood and yellow fluid all over his face.

When breastfeeding, the child must also lie on his back. There must be two people on each side to hold his hands hard to prevent him from scratching. Adults also needed to make sure not to let his head touch anything. Otherwise, the baby would push his head hard on the object and have a seizure-like convulsion. It was terrible.

He did not hit any of his milestones: he could not sit, crawl, or eat solid food. Any introduction of food caused an allergic reaction. He had to totally rely on breastfeeding.

Over time, his condition did not improve but got much worse. He cried day and night. The adults all reached their limits as well. Even the neighbor downstairs came to complain to them that they were disturbed by the noise. They said the parents should not let the baby cry so much and affect others’ rest. Everyone was overwhelmed with pressure.

Disease Worsened with Various Medicines

In May 2020, my niece spent 3,000 yuan on some medicine from a very famous Chinese medicine doctor. The prescription included a powdered medicine with an oil-like liquid, adding up to a total of three bottles. After applying this medicine, the child developed upper respiratory symptoms and they had to stop using it.

They also got another herbal soup with sugar for the baby to drink. After two days, he began to have diarrhea. They stopped the medicine, but the diarrhea lasted for a long time. The baby also had some other complications.

Various Treatments from Different Doctors to No Avail

The boy’s paternal grandparents took him to a hospital. The doctor stated he was allergic to breast milk and suggested baby formula. The boy refused the formula and the adults force-fed him. He began to vomit and have diarrhea. He even refused to breastfeed for two days. Everyone was in a panic. Finally, after another two days, he resumed breastfeeding.

His father went to other doctors and brought back various medicines, which all made his symptoms a lot worse after being ingested or applied to his skin. His parents went to various hospitals and doctors with hope, only to end up in despair each time.

A Miracle Happened

My niece and my sister both felt exhausted, but thanks to Falun Dafa, they never gave up hope.

My sister stated that her daughter would have fallen apart a long time ago and her family might have been broken as well without Dafa.

My niece began practicing Falun Dafa at eight. She firmly believed that Master has been protecting her and her child.

When no more hospitals were willing to treat the baby, her husband no longer objected to her playing Master’s audio lectures to their child.

She played the lectures day and night and also recited Master’s poems. Whenever the baby cried, as long as the lecture was playing, he would calm down.

Her husband did not practice Falun Dafa. When the baby was fussing, he also started to recite the poem while pacing back and forth.

The baby got better day by day. When he was 11 months old, he was able to eat and sleep on a regular basis. Before his first birthday, he was completely well! His skin was as healthy as any normal baby without any scar! Now we could see his true self. His development also caught up with a normal baby.

The boy’s skin disease completely disappeared!

It truly was a miracle! After being tormented for so long and exhausting every medical treatment, he was cured by only listening to Dafa lectures! Our entire family is deeply grateful for Master’s saving grace!

We submitted the before and after photos of the baby to the Minghui website, hoping for more people to see this miracle.
