US Sanctions CCP Official for Persecuting Falun Gong

The United States has sanctioned a Chinese official for his role in persecuting the faith group Falun Gong, which the communist party ruling China has targeted in an unrelenting eradication campaign for more than 23 years.

Tang Yong, formerly a deputy director of the Chongqing Area Prisons in southwestern China, is now designated a gross human rights violator, barring him and his immediate family from entering the United States.

The State Department said that Tang had been responsible for “gross violations of human rights, namely arbitrary detention of Falun Gong practitioners, which also amount to particularly severe violations of religious freedom.”

There’s little other information available about Tang from the State Department sanction sheet released on Dec. 9, the eve of the Human Rights Day, targeting a long list of individuals engaged in corruption or human rights abuses.

“All persons have these rights and should be free to exercise them, without discrimination, no matter what they believe, whom they love, or where they live. All means all,” said Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in a Dec. 9 statement.

The spiritual practice Falun Gong features meditative exercises along with values of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance. Since 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has sought to eradicate Falun Gong in a nationwide campaign involving arbitrary arrests, imprisonment, torture, organ harvesting, and other violent tactics. Millions have been held in the CCP’s vast detention facility apparatus across China.

“We applaud the U.S. sanction of the CCP official who is involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and we encourage others in the international community to follow this lead,” said Erping Zhang, a spokesperson for the Falun Dafa Information Center, following the U.S. action.

However, Wang Zhiyuan of the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) has urged the Biden administration to do more. He said that U.S. actions have been far from enough given the scale and barbarity of abuses faced by Falun Gong adherents in China, while noting far more Uyghur-related sanctions for the CCP’s crimes in Xinjiang, whereas the crimes targeting Falun Gong have been widespread across China.

Stories of Torment

In Chongqing, one of the largest Chinese cities with a population of over 32 million, authorities have sentenced at a very minimum hundreds of Falun Gong adherents over their faith, according to incomplete statistics collected by Minghui, an overseas website dedicated to tracking accounts of Falun Gong persecution. Among them were a string of records of torment and death at the hands of the CCP given in graphic detail.

Zhang Luyuan, an assistant professor at Chongqing Social Work Professional College, lost her husband and colleague in 2004 amid frequent police house raids and harassment. Then, during one year of prison torture herself, she lost 29 teeth while her feet became deformed, leaving her barely able to walk or eat.

Zhang, who died in November 2018 at the age of 76, once recalled in a statement to Minghui of being arrested on the street for “looking like a Falun Gong.”

Liu Fanxin, a retired senior executive at a state-owned optical instrument manufacturing factory, was handcuffed for more than 30 consecutive hours after she decided to reveal the sexual abuse of a fellow imprisoned female Falun Gong adherent to overseas media in 2003. Liu’s two arms went limp as a result of being restrained.

Still, she was then sent to Chongqing Women’s Prison for nine years, where she had to sit on a low stool for up to 17 hours each day, motionless—a process that inflicted unbearable pain on her already injured shoulder, arm, and waist. Guards ordered her to perform slave labor like other imprisoned adherents, picking glass beads for car seat covers and cleaning.

To move a broom, Liu had to steady it with both hands and anchor her elbows on her waist in order to drag the broom forward and back with her body. The pain from such physical activity, she later wrote, was so excruciating that she was sometimes up all night.

“Even if you die here in prison, so what? We will take care of that with 80 bucks ($11.5),” one female guard said after repeatedly trying to make Liu sign papers renouncing her faith but to no avail. The money, Liu believed, was the cost of cremation.

It’s hard to assess Tang’s role in the persecution efforts in the region. The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, a U.S.-based advocacy group, had three names of perpetrators on its file bearing the same name as Tang. They were the head of a domestic security division unit for the Fengjie County Public Security Bureau who had led several arrests, interrogations, and torture of Falun Gong adherents; a manager for a Chongqing shoe firm that sourced slave labor from the Chongqing Women’s Prison, and a Party Secretary at a neighborhood committee in the city’s Jiangbei district known as Dashiba.

The Epoch Times has sought more information regarding Tang from the State Department.

Tang is the second Chinese official sanctioned in connection with the persecution of Falun Gong under the Biden administration.

In May 2021, ahead of the World Falun Dafa Day, the State Department sanctioned Yu Hui, the former overseer of a suppression campaign in Chengdu of southwestern Sichuan Province.

Under the Trump administration, the United States sanctioned Huang Yuanxiong, a local police chief in southern Fujian Province, in marking Human Rights Day in 2020.

In addition to Tang, four other individuals placed on the sanction list on Dec. 9 include Wu Yingjie, former Party Secretary of Tibet from 2016 to 2021; and Zhang Hongbo, director of the Tibetan Public Security Bureau since 2018, for human rights violations taking place in the region.

Li Zhenyu and Zhuo Xinrong, who control Dalian Ocean Fishing Co. and Pingtan Marine Enterprise respectively, were sanctioned for labor abuses occurring on their fishing vessels.

U.S. First Ever Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom ‘Sends a Message to the World’

WASHINGTON—A roundtable focusing on religious persecution in China set the stage on July 23 for the U.S. Department of State’s first ever Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom. The ministerial signals that the Trump administration intends to place religious freedom at the center of its foreign policy agenda.

Greg Mitchell, co-chair of the International Religious Freedom Roundtable in Washington, hosted the event, which he described as the “kick off” for the ministerial. Dozens of human rights experts and advocates, as well as victims of religious persecution in China, shared their views and personal stories.

Mitchell noted that similar stories of people being tortured and even killed for their religious beliefs have been shared over and over again in the past, but he said things will be different this time.

“It was always the pattern or habit for the government to not put pressure on those governments that are partners, ” said Mitchell.

“We want to change that. The ‘Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom’ sends a message to the world, to the governments of the world, that we are building this global religious freedom movement now.

“Even if you are an economic partner, a national security partner, a partner in the war on terror or nuclear nonproliferation, the U.S. government wants you to be a partner on this now, too, to advance religious freedom.”

In an interview transcript released by the State Department, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said, “This is a big deal, the first time the State Department has ever hosted such a gathering. ”

“We’ll have folks from over 80 countries, 40-plus foreign ministers, all kinds of religious groups and NGOs all coming together on a common theme, which is that the advancement of religious freedom matters to every individual in every country,” Pompeo said. “The human dignity, human rights attached to religious freedom, I feel personally, and I know President Trump does as well.

“We want this administration to make religious freedom a true priority for the United States State Department in every interaction we have with our foreign partners.”

Sam Brownback, the U.S. ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom, expressed the same idea at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, as it launched a week of activities to advance international religious freedom, on July 23.

“This is something in the DNA of the United States. We believe in this in our very soul. We believe this is a God given right,” Brownback told NTD, a part of Epoch Media Group. “I am delighted that this administration has made this a top foreign policy priority. And we are going to push it, and push it aggressively.”

From July 24 to 26, a wide range of events will be held at the State Department and other locations in Washington, with senior U.S. officials providing an overview of foreign policy goals in relation to international religious freedom.

Civil society groups, including religious leaders and survivors of religious persecution, will convene to tell their stories. More than 175 civil society representatives and more than 100 religious leaders from around the world will participate.

At the July 23 roundtable, Falun Gong practitioner Chi Lihua and her daughter, Xu Xinyang, were some of those who came to tell their stories of religious persecution.

They held up before and after photos of Chi’s husband and Xu’s father, Xu Dawei, who was tortured while in custody in China. While Chi was pregnant, Xu Dawei was sentenced to eight years for practicing Falun Gong.

When he was released after eight years, he met his daughter for the first time. But only 13 days later, he died due to the severe torture he had suffered in prison. Xu Xinyang is now 16 years old.

For Mitchell, “the days of the U.S. government doing nothing are over.”

Pence and Pompeo Say Religious Liberty Top US Priority

WASHINGTON—Religious freedom is fundamental to the United States and good for the whole world, according to remarks delivered by Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on the final day of a State Department-sponsored summit.

“Those nations that reject religious freedom breed radicalism and resentment in their citizens,” Pence said July 26 at the State Department’s Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom. “They sow the seeds of violence within their borders—violence that often spills over into their neighbors and across the world.”

He said that 83 percent of the world’s population lives in nations where religious freedom is either threatened or even banned.

Pence heralded America’s history of honoring religious freedom. “The American Founders enshrined religious freedom as the first freedom in the Constitution of the United States. America has always and will always lead the world by our example,”  he said.

“The right to believe or not believe is the most fundamental of freedoms. When religious liberty is denied or destroyed, we know that other freedoms—freedom of speech, of press, assembly, and even democratic institutions themselves—are imperiled.”

He said religious freedom “is a top priority of this administration.”

The three-day ministerial was the first of its kind and will become an annual event, Pompeo said at the event conclusion on July 26.

He said more than 80 foreign delegations and religious leaders from around the world joined the ministerial. The religious leaders work closely with civil-society groups, “who are often on the frontlines of reporting and responding to cases of religious intolerance and persecution,” Pompeo said.

“Since the earliest days of his presidency, President Trump has directed his administration to advance and defend the rights of religious freedom at home and abroad, because religious freedom is a universal God-given right to which all people are entitled. It is also an essential building block for all free societies,” he said.

Pompeo said survivors of religious persecution shared their stories at the ministerial, “driving home why this work is so important” and “why religious freedom meant so much to them.”

He said the Trump administration is committed to advancing religious freedom and named several initiatives it is spearheading.

Action Plans

The main outcomes of the ministerial were the Potomac Declaration and the Potomac Plan of Action.

The declaration, Pompeo said, is a formal affirmation that the United States “takes religious freedom seriously, that we will work with others around the world to help those under attack for their beliefs, and that we expect leaders around the world to make it their priority as well.”

The plan of action provides concrete ways that the international community and governments can do more to protect religious freedom and to protect vulnerable religious communities in their own countries.

The State Department has created a new International Religious Freedom Fund, which is a joint fund with other nations, to support the work of religious-freedom defenders and assist victims of persecution.

The department also created an International Visitor Leadership Program, a 10-day project that will bring those working on the front lines of religious freedom to the United States. The program will focus on promoting religious pluralism and protecting the rights of religious minorities.

The government also is preparing to launch a Genocide Recovery and Persecution Response initiative, which will assist communities recovering from atrocities.

“While focused first on our ongoing response to the genocide committed by ISIS in Iraq, our hope is that this program will assist victims in many different places,” Pompeo said.

Pompeo praised the ministerial as “truly unbelievable,” adding that “there is truly eternal significance in the work that we have done.”

Countries of Concern

The State Department also released several statements regarding countries of concern, including Burma, China, and Iran where religious intolerance or persecution is continuous.

“We are deeply concerned about the significant restrictions on religious freedom in China and call on the Chinese government to respect the human rights of all individuals,” the China statement said. “Many members of religious minority groups in China—including Uighurs, Hui, and Kazakh Muslims; Tibetan Buddhists; Catholics; Protestants; and Falun Gong—face severe repression and discrimination because of their beliefs.”

“We strongly urge the Chinese government to protect the religious freedom of all individuals and to respect the human rights of all members of religious groups, in accordance to China’s international commitments to respect freedom of religion.”

Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom Samuel Brownback summed up the enthusiasm for the ministerial,  saying, “I really think we’re at a moment where the Iron Curtain prohibiting religious freedom is coming down, and you’re going to see a burst of freedom, of religious freedom, around the world taking place.”

List of Falun Gong Persecutors Submitted to U.S. Government

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa Information Center (FDIC) and the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) submitted a list of perpetrators of the persecution of Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) in China to the United States Department of State and Department of the Treasury in July 2017.

FDIC and WOIPFG request the U.S. government to investigate and hold the perpetrators accountable by following the The Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act.

The Act was passed at the end of 2016. It allows the president to deny U.S. visas and freeze U.S.-based assets of human rights abusers and corrupt foreign officials. Many Chinese officials who have participated in the persecution of Falun Gong, especially those involved in the harvesting of organs from Falun Gong practitioners, can be the targets of the law.

The list that FDIC and WOIPFG submitted includes perpetrators at various levels and positions who participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

In addition, according to Human Rights Watch website, a similar act is also available in Britain. The Canadian and European parliaments are considering similar legislation to target human right abusers in other countries.

FDIC and WOIPFG have not made public the list of the perpetrators they submitted to the U.S. government. They have announced that they will update the list at least once a year.

A Falun Gong practitioner involved in the collection of evidence of Chinese officials participating in the persecution indicated that the perpetrators must stop participating in the persecution for the good of themselves and their families. Those involved in the persecution will ultimately be brought to justice.

He also reminded the Falun Gong practitioners in China to collect evidence of the persecution and to submit it to Minghui.org. World governments will ultimately act to punish the human rights abusers, they feel, but will need detailed descriptions of the persecution that took place.

Background

Falun Gong was made public in 1992 and soon spread across China due to its beneficial effect on health improvement and morality. Near 100 million people practiced it by 1999. Out of jealousy, and paranoid of losing control of the people, Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), initiated the persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999.

The persecution has led to the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners in the past 18 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.

Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organ, the “610 Office,” on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang’s directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.

The CCP even conducts state-sanctioned live organ harvesting for lucrative profit. Due to CCP’s information censorship, the exact number of practitioners died in the persecution is not known.

A Good Person or an Accomplice to Evil: Which Will You Choose?

Good will be rewarded with good and evil met with evil. Do not refuse to do good things even though they appear trivial. Do not do bad things even though they seem small. Treating others with kindness is being kind to yourself, while harming others is harming yourself. For your own sake, stand with the good people and treat others with kindness!

(Minghui.net) I remember a saying: “When someone teaches you to be a good person, you must act accordingly no matter how hard it is, because by conducting yourself this way you will become a messenger of kindness; when someone tells you to do bad things, you must not listen even though it’s easy to do, because by engaging in bad behavior, you will become an accomplice of evil.”

I never truly understood the inner meaning and importance of this until now.

Whose words do you listen to? Whose words do you act upon? What you say and do determine whether you are a good person or an accomplice to evil.

A revered teacher teaches his students to behave according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and to “not fight back when punched or insulted.” Just by reading these words you know he is an upright teacher who guides people to be good. This teacher is none other than Mr. Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Gong, who is highly respected worldwide.

More than one hundred million Falun Gong practitioners follow Mr. Li Hongzhi’s teachings. At home, they try to be good daughters and sons, good wives or husbands, good parents and grandparents. They endure humiliation and bear hardships in order to balance household conflicts, turning unhappy families into happy ones.

At work, they arrive early and leave late, working conscientiously with great care. They refuse to be corrupt and never harm others to benefit themselves. They don’t embezzle money or engage in corrupt practices, but try to be good people. In society, they are always ready to help others, taking good care of the old and young.

They try to look at things from other people’s perspective and always consider others first. These Falun Gong practitioners have not only benefited China and its citizens, but they’ve also gained good health and uplifted their morality as they constantly rectify and improve themselves in cultivation practice. Their long-term illnesses disappeared and numerous miraculous incidents have been experienced by their friends and relatives.

People from all walks of life in society also feel the extraordinary power and grace of Falun Dafa. Even under severe persecution, practitioners still firmly hold on to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. When Dafa was being slandered and practitioners brutally persecuted, their Master kept reminding them to be kind to those who were persecuting them.

Tens of millions of practitioners have suffered horrific persecution in the last 14 years, and yet there hasn’t been even a single case of retaliation from Falun Gong practitioners. They try to eliminate even a single thought of hatred. They only focus on saving people even when they are being persecuted themselves. They are totally selfless and altruistic. Aren’t such extraordinarily good people deities in the human world?

“Defame their reputation, bankrupt them financially and destroy them physically; if practitioners are beaten to death it is nothing and shall be counted as suicide; cremate their body directly without identifying the person.” If you didn’t know who said these words, you would think he must be a lawless and ruthless person. In fact, these are Jiang Zemin’s words, the former head of the CCP, and a former national leader.

Due to decades of brainwashing, people who follow the Party have lost their basic human nature and only care about power and money. They only see the glittering shell of power while ignoring what is inside. They cannot distinguish good from bad, or true from false. They feel content as long as they get promoted, make money and satisfy their self-interests.

Actually, it is not that these people don’t realize that the persecution is evil and criminal, but they wrongly believed that the Party’s violent apparatus was to maintain its rule, and Jiang Zemin was the one who had the highest power in China. They thought as long as they were told to do so by the CCP, by Jiang Zemin, they would be fine. While torturing people, some police yelled, “I’ve nothing to worry about as long as the CCP holds its power.” “The CCP is in power. Whatever we say goes.”

Some thugs hired by the police also shouted, “I work for the CCP. I’ve nothing to fear even if I beat you to death…”. They thought they could rely on the CCP and Jiang and regarded them as their boss. There is no difference between these people and vicious dogs that are ordered to bite people unscrupulously. They have lost their human nature, rationality and human conscience and are worse than murderous villains.

These people who have been brainwashed with atheism forgot that heavenly principles exist in the human world, and Jiang and his followers are being watched. Because the CCP chose to ignore this, they dared to flaunt their prowess to intimidate others and rampaged about, behaving in a cruel and shameless manner.

To give themselves pleasure, they’ve caused kind people pain, crippling or killing the innocent, and harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit. Under the instruction and instigation of the CCP and Jiang, all forms of evil yet to be seen on this planet and torturous crimes against humanity are constantly being committed in today’s China.

No matter how vicious the evil may seem, it’s in fact pretty weak. It does evil by deceiving and instigating bad people. On the other hand, those who were deceived and ordered to participate in the persecution of Falun Gong, regardless of whether they thought they were doing a good thing or a bad thing, were accomplices.

Because they were harming good people and depriving kindhearted people of their rights, what they have done constitute crimes. How can they escape responsibility? Those who have committed unpardonable crimes will surely meet with retribution. Those who listen to the truth and thoroughly rectify their errors, quit the CCP organizations and protect practitioners can still have a bright future, because gods and Buddhas are compassionate and always offer opportunities to save people. However, time is limited and one mustn’t keep passing up opportunities offered to them. When the day comes and the facts are revealed, you will not have any more opportunities. Those who are willing to follow Jiang will have to go down with him.

The mission to safeguard the universal truth is being carried out by selfless and courageous enlightened beings. The 14-year-long on-going contest between good and evil, the righteous and the wicked, has gradually divided mankind into two camps: one represents the righteous group that supports Falun Gong practitioners, and the other is represented by Jiang Zemin, the 610 Office and vicious police thugs.

With the increasing number of people signing petitions against the persecution, with thousands of fingerprints from people to rescue Falun Gong practitioners and the huge wave of people quitting the CCP and its associated organizations, the group of people with a sense of justice is becoming larger and larger while the evil dens are being disintegrated one after another. Evil beings are meeting with their due retributions one after another. Their desperate madness cannot save them from destruction; furthermore, it will only lead them into the gate of no life and they will suffer in utter agony till their complete elimination.

Good will be rewarded with good and evil met with evil. Do not refuse to do good things even though they appear trivial. Do not do bad things even though they seem small. Treating others with kindness is being kind to yourself, while harming others is harming yourself. For your own sake, stand with the good people and treat others with kindness!

An Ancient Chinese Parable

Lu Dongbin is a well-known character in Chinese legends who ascended and became an immortal through cultivating himself. It was said that he once transformed himself into a street vendor. He set up a table to sell dumplings and put up a sign, “One coin for one dumpling and two coins to eat as many as you can.” He did this hoping to find an honest person that he could accept as a disciple.

Many people came up to the table to buy dumplings, but all of them paid two coins and ate their fill. Finally, a young man came, paid one coin for one dumpling, and started to leave. Lu Dongbin approved and asked him why he only paid one coin for one dumpling instead of two and eating as much as he could. The young man said, “I only had one coin with me.” Lu Dongbin was very disappointed. Unfortunately he never found anyone suitable to be his disciple.

This story may make us think about how, in ordinary society today, most people tend to keep busy day after day rather than think too deeply about the meaning or purpose of life.

Motivated by desire for fortune and fame, a person usually thinks of his or her self-interest and acts to satisfy it. In the above example, those who visited the street vendor perhaps thought they had made a smart decision. What they did not realize was that they lost the precious opportunity to learn from an immortal and ascend to a better future.

Greed Still Prevalent in China Today

Unfortunately, there are many stories of greed and malice in China today, especially regarding the persecution of Falun Gong. The communist regime has employed every means at its disposal, all its media outlets and propaganda mouthpieces, to defame Falun Gong.

There are, nonetheless, still opportunities for people to learn the truth through their neighbors, friends, or practitioners. If people remain indifferent to crimes against humanity because they wish to protect their personal interests, even committing bad deeds themselves, they will surely bear the consequences. Below are some examples that appear to illustrate this principle.

Two Court Officials in Xinjiang Province

Su Qian, an officer in the Shihezi City Intermediate Court in Xinjiang Province, died of advanced leukemia on June 12, 2007. She was involved in the persecution of many practitioners and was known to be corrupt, embezzling large amounts of money.

She knew she was dying, and, to relieve her guilt, she gave 300,000 yuan to her friend before she died, asking her to donate the money to charity. After she was taken to the mortuary and laid there for 24 hours, Su suddenly came back to life.

In front of friends, coworkers, and doctors, she told what she had seen during that day.

Su Qian said she went to hell and saw many frightening scenes. She said Liu Yong, her husband who died in a car accident several months earlier, was suffering in hell for persecuting practitioners.

Her friend Gao Fan, a judge who died a few months before, was also suffering greatly. The king of hell not only knew everything about Su’s embezzling funds, he told her that everyone who participated in the persecution of Falun Gong would end up in hell and suffer endless torment. He told her the only way out was to quit the communist regime. The king of hell told Su that he was giving her an opportunity to come back to life so that she would tell others about this. Su immediately asked to quit the communist regime and urged the people in the hospital room to do the same.

Soon after that, Su died again and never came back to life. Her funeral was held as scheduled.

After Su Qian died, Wu Jun took over handling Falun Gong cases in the local area. Several people urged him to resign because of the bad consequences that Su and her husband experienced. But Wu refused to, and he later died.

The day before Wu’s death, he told his friend that he had dream in which Su warned him not to commit wrongdoings because her husband and her friend Gao had received retribution. Wu, however, still did not listen.

The very next day he fainted at work and was taken to the hospital emergency. Wu Jun died shortly afterward. His wife had a dream in which he came to her, begging her to help him because the suffering in hell was so horrible. His wife told him it was caused by his bad deeds and that it was too late for her to do anything.

More Examples of Consequences

Chen Hong, CCTV Social Topics Division deputy director, compiled propaganda defaming Falun Gong that ultimately poisoned the minds of millions of Chinese people. He was in severe pain before dying of stomach cancer in 2008. He once asked doctors to stop attempts to prolong his life since each second of life meant another second of suffering.

Wei Zhiyun, Domestic Security Division police officer in the Baoshan District of Shanghai City, was promoted for persecuting Falun Gong. When practitioners told her the facts about Falun Gong in early 2007 and asked her to stop doing bad deeds, she said, “I do not believe in retribution. The Communist Party rewards me with money, so I will work for it. I don’t care, because everyone has to die sooner or later.” She also defamed Falun Gong’s founder and boasted that she would outlive him.

Before a meeting several weeks later, Wei suddenly passed out and was unconscious. As she died, her body bloated, and her face was horribly deformed. She was only 42.

Bo Xilai started organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners when he was the leader of Liaoning Province, according to his subordinate, Wang Lijun. The practice soon throughout China, resulting in widespread crimes against humanity.

Their involvement in persecuting innocent Falun Gong practitioners may be one reason why Bo, Wang, and many other communist regime officials have recently fallen from political favor.

After all, there is an old Chinese saying that, “Good is rewarded with good, and evil meets evil.”
