[Minghui.org] Indonesia: North Kuta Subdistrict Office Staff Learn Falun Dafa

This was the first time that Gede Bayu Pramana, Acting Head of the Government Section, tried the exercises. He said, “I already felt changes in myself. I feel calmer. Yesterday I felt dizzy, but today after practicing, I feel much better,” he said.

(Minghui.org) Practitioners were invited to introduce Falun Dafa to staff at the North Kuta Subdistrict Office in Badung Regency, Bali, on Friday, October 24, 2025.

This was part of the Jumat Krida program, a morning exercise held every Friday for government employees. During the practitioners’ session, dozens of subdistrict staff members learned how to do the Falun Dafa exercises. The activity took place from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Afterwards many participants said that doing the Falun Dafa exercises refreshed their focus and replenished their energy.

Subdistrict Secretary Thanks Practitioners

The Head of the North Kuta Subdistrict, I Putu Eka Parmana, S.STP., M.M., warmly welcomed the practitioners to the North Kuta Subdistrict Office and said that she hopes the group practice activities at the office continues in the future.

The Subdistrict Secretary, Putu Laksmi Dewi, invited practitioners to show the staff how to do the exercises. Afterwards, she said, “I would like to thank Falun Dafa practitioners for coming to our office today. I hope that with the start of today’s practice, we can continue to hold regular practice sessions here and gain the benefits of practicing Falun Dafa.”

Government Employees Talk About Their Experience

The practitioners taught the five exercises—four standing exercises and a sitting meditation. Participants could do some of the exercises or stay for all five, which many did. They said they felt relaxed and energized after the exercises.

[Minghui.org] Bali, Indonesia: Introducing Falun Dafa at a High School

One student named Ananta said he was determined to maintain the correct posture: “I try to keep myself in the correct sitting position during the meditation because I want to train my patience.” Other students also tried to sit correctly as long as possible until the exercise music ended.

(Minghui.org) Indonesian Falun Dafa practitioners introduced Falun Dafa and taught the exercises to students and teachers at SMAN 1 Semarapura in Bali on December 7, 2022. The school principal welcomed practitioners at the opening ceremony.

Final exams had just wrapped up at SMAN 1 Semarapura, and students had relatively more free time, so the school gave practitioners a lot of time to introduce the exercises. Eighty high school sophomores attended the activity.

A practitioner briefly introduced Falun Dafa and its guiding principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Another practitioner shared his cultivation experience and demonstrated Falun Dafa’s five exercises. He also explained the persecution that practitioners in China are subjected to.

When the practitioners played the exercise music and demonstrated the exercises, the students watched attentively and followed the movements.

One student named Ananta said he was determined to maintain the correct posture: “I try to keep myself in the correct sitting position during the meditation because I want to train my patience.” Other students also tried to sit correctly as long as possible until the exercise music ended.

Practitioners gave out informational brochures at the end of the event. They told the students that Falun Dafa is practiced around the world and that persecution is still going on in China. They asked for signatures to call for an end to the persecution. Having learned the facts and tried Falun Dafa, all the students signed the petition.

[Minghui.org] Batam, Indonesia: Falun Dafa Practitioners Participate in Independence Day Celebrations

Before the performance, the host read practitioners’ greetings for the event. The greetings said they were happy to be part of Indonesia’s 78th Independence Day celebrations along with other communities, and wished a happy, peaceful society consistent with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

(Minghui.org) Practitioners were invited to participate in a parade held in Batam to celebrate Indonesia’s 78th Independence Day on August 13, 2023. Their performances were well received.

About 5,000 people and over 50 floats participated in the event which was held at Dataran Engku Hamidah Park. The day-long event started at 7:30 a.m. Spectators said they were glad to see the traditional and folk costumes of Indonesia, along with floats representing government agencies and various organizations.

Led by the waist drum team dressed in traditional gold costumes, the practitioners’ group included a dancing heavenly maiden team, followed by practitioners carrying Indonesia’s national flag and red and white balloons (Indonesia’s national colors). Many people applauded their music and dancing.

Many dignitaries and government officials were there, including Marlin Agustina, vice governor of the Riau Islands, and Batam mayor Muhammad Rudi.

[Minghui.org] Batam, Indonesia: High School Teachers and Students Learn the Falun Dafa Exercises

I think the practice also helps us eliminate negative thoughts and improve our moral values.”

(Minghui.org) Practitioners introduced the spiritual practice and its exercises to teachers and students of Kartini 2 Junior High School in Batam City on Thursday August 7, 2025. The principal addressed the students and staff and praised Falun Dafa, saying that practicing it is a good way to improve students’ character and health.

The presentation was jointly organized by the school management and the local Falun Dafa Association. More than 100 teachers and students attended the introductory session. Kukuh Eko Prasetyo, the principal first gave a speech after everyone assembled at 7:15 a.m. He emphasized the importance of instilling moral values from an early age and praised the Falun Dafa exercises as a positive way to improve students’ moral character and maintain the younger generation’s health.

A practitioner then gave a brief introduction to Falun Dafa. Four practitioners demonstrated the exercises while the MC explained each movement in detail simultaneously.

Enthusiastic Feedback from Participants

Several teachers who stood in the last row learned every exercise movement. Novianti Ambarita said, “I am grateful for the opportunity to learn Falun Dafa at our school because it is beneficial for all of us, fosters a good spirit, and healthy body and soul, and teaches us to have patience.”

Kukuh Eko Prasetyo, the principal said, “We’d like to thank the Falun Dafa community for holding this exercise session here. It has certainly been very beneficial for the students and the entire school community. Falun Dafa, with its principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, are good.”
