Practitioners held group practice and a banner exhibition in the Park of the Nations to introduce Falun Dafa and inform passersby about the ongoing persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They also distributed leaflets and collected signatures for a petition calling to end the persecution in China.
(Minghui.org) May 13, 2024, was the 25th World Falun Dafa Day and the 32nd anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the public. Falun Gong practitioners in Portugal gathered in Lisbon to celebrate the day and extend their deep gratitude to the founder of the practice, Mr. Li Hongzhi.
Falun Gong has benefited over 100 million practitioners around the world since it was first introduced to the public in China in 1992. The profound core principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance encourage practitioners to become better people, and the practice has undeniable health benefits.
Practitioners held group practice and a banner exhibition in the Park of the Nations to introduce Falun Dafa and inform passersby about the ongoing persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They also distributed leaflets and collected signatures for a petition calling to end the persecution in China.
Practitioners have peacefully protested and raised awareness about the persecution of practitioners in China throughout the years. They hope that more people can come to know about the CCP’s brutal human rights atrocities and learn about the beauty of Falun Dafa.
A woman who had been passing by the banner exhibition said that she had learned about Falun Gong in Germany 10 years ago and was very impressed by practitioners’ perseverance in telling people about Falun Gong and the persecution.
Maria de Fátima Machado works in a factory and seldom goes to the city, but she happened to be in Lisbon for a medical appointment. She was happy she had passed by the practitioners booth. After learning about the practice and the ongoing persecution in China, she signed the petition to show her support.
