(Clearwisdom.net) In Chinatown in Lima, capital of Peru, people were delighted to see a graceful parade on January 29, Chinese New Year. From the banner “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,” “Falun Dafa” and “Falun Dafa is Good,” to yellow T-shirts, people realized this was a parade of Falun Dafa practitioners.

In the procession, young girls danced gracefully with white lotus flowers in hands. People watched and cheered. The crew from TV Channel 2 met the parade and happily filmed the dance performance. Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises to the spectators and distributed truth-clarifying flyers as well as New Year blessings. People were happy to receive the flyers. Chinese visitors thanked the practitioners for “Falun Dafa is good” cards.

This is the first Chinese New Year celebration activity in the Chinese community. Falun Gong practitioners broke the CCP tradition that Peru Chinatown only celebrates on October 1. This is a shock and encouragement to the Chinese community and it helps people to learn more about the beauty of Falun Dafa
