(Minghui.org) Practitioners in Yunlin, Taiwan held a parade and exercise demonstration at the Yunlin Palm Puppets museum and nearby areas on December 4, 2022 to introduce Falun Dafa to the public.
The parade started from the Yunlin Palm Puppets museum. The Tian Guo Marching Band’s music attracted many passersby.
Falun Dafa Has the Power to Stabilize Society and Offers People Hope
Huang Hanwei, director of the Huwei Meili Commercial Center attended the day’s activities. He said, “Falun Dafa is a group that improves one’s morals. Many of my close friends who practice aim to reach a state based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance. They love the world and those around them. I have an excellent impression of my friends who practice. They set an example by conducting themselves well, before promoting the practice to others. I think this is a great thing.”
When he saw the Tian Guo Marching Band formed by over 100 practitioners from all parts of Taiwan, Huang exclaimed, “Wow! What a large contingent! The band lifts one’s spirits. I am amazed by how orderly everyone is. Their determination and team spirit are admirable!”
He told practitioners, “One is moved by the energy transmitted through your music. Together with a righteous power, the surroundings are filled with peace and joy. I thank you for bringing such great ambiance to this place.
“Practitioners take time off from work and their studies to do things for others without asking for anything in return. If there were more people like this in society, I think there will be hope for humanity. Their spirit is touching.”
Huang said he hopes everyone can join practitioners in improving moral values in society. The world would become more peaceful and the country would be stronger.
The Music Has Positive Energy
Mr. He, who owns a Japanese restaurant nearby, heard the music from the waist drum and came out of his shop. He said learning about Dafa was the highlight of his day, and the music made him feel relaxed.
Ms. Zhang who owns a clothing shop also came out to watch the parade. She said the Chinese Communist Party commits evil deeds for money. She criticized the regime for not caring about people’s lives in carrying out its zero-COVID policy and suppressing Falun Dafa. She knew Falun Dafa is good and thought the group does not deserve to be so brutally persecuted. She said she supports Dafa and is paying attention to news on the persecution.
An elderly woman next to her said, “The CCP is terrible! It steals organs from people, and commits all kinds of evil including swindling and kidnapping people. The Party is devoid of human nature.”
She praised practitioners in the parade for their kind, polite demeanor: “The whole group exudes an upright energy.” She expressed her anger at the violence used by the CCP regime to suppress students who recently participated in the anti-lockdown protest in China: “Thankfully we have Falun Gong, which has the power to stabilize people’s hearts in Taiwan. They make people feel there is hope for the future.”
People Pay Attention to Events in China
Mr. Zhang who came from another town to see the parade said he follows news about the persecution of Falun Dafa in China. He felt the practice was unjustly suppressed and many people in China are misled by the lies spread by the CCP to vilify Falun Dafa. Jiang Zemin, the former CCP leader who gave orders for the persecution of Falun Dafa in 1999 has died. Zhang said Jiang will be punished in hell for his evil deeds.
Kinder After Practicing Dafa
Before Mr. Qiu began practicing Falun Dafa 20 years ago, he suffered from major and minor ailments along with severe insomnia. After he began practicing his health improved. He hopes to share how wonderful Falun Dafa is with others while participating in the day’s activities.
Chen Shuchou, a retired principal, said both her character and health improved after she began practicing Falun Dafa. She hopes to introduce the practice to more people. She said, “The greatest change is in my character. I no longer lose my temper. I often remind myself to handle things with a calm mindset and see things from others’ perspective.”
Background: What Is Falun Dafa and Why Is the CCP Persecuting It?
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises, have experienced improved health and well-being.
Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology and on July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.
Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.
Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 23 years. The actual number is believed to be much higher. Countless practitioners have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.
There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply China’s organ transplant industry.
