“Rape and Sexual Slavery: A crime against humanity”

A scene at the Masanjia forced labor camp, where 18 female Falun Gong adherents were stripped naked and forced into a cell with male criminals. “There has been sexual torture, including stripping 18 women of their clothes and forcing them into the jail cells of male criminal offenders to be gang-raped. Some women have been subjected to forced, late-term abortions. [The policemen] have ripped off our clothes in public and shocked us with electric batons. Iron wire has been used to pierce our nipples. They have sexually violated our bodies using eggplants, toothbrushes, and plastic water bottles. In one Female Labor Camp located in Jilin Province, the police inserted hot pepper powder into women’s vaginas in order to force them to give up their belief and practice of Falun Dafa. They have forced electric stun batons into female practitioners’ vaginas to torture and shock them...”

On March 23, 2001, the Association of World Citizens hosted a strategy session on the topic of: Rape and Sexual Slavery: A crime against humanity. With growing attention and concerns on the sexual abuse of female Falun Gong practitioners by Jiang Zemin’s henchmen, Falun Gong practitioners were invited to attend the session. A Falun Gong practitioner brought forth the facts regarding the situation of female Falun Gong practitioners being detained in labor camps, prisons and mental hospitals in China.
This session also covered some other persecution in other countries. After listening to the discussion from the other guests, the Falun Gong practitioner was able to speak. She gave a 5-minute presentation on how the persecution in China has severely affected female Falun Gong practitioners. Since time was limited, she focused on the vicious methods being used at the Masanjia Labor Camp where 18 female practitioners were stripped naked and thrown into cells of male prisoners. The attendees were all shocked by the vicious crimes Masanjia.
Mr. Renee Wadlow, the chairperson of the Association of World Citizens, expressed his deep concerns over the suffering of the female Falun Gong practitioners and appealed to the Chinese government to allow neutral third parties to scrutinize the on-going sexual persecution of female Falun Gong practitioners.
After the discussion was over, two reporters came over and were very interested to collect more information. One reporter was surprised that we had so much detailed information on the Masanjia Labor Camp. When he learned we have been documenting detailed records of the persecution so that the perpetrators can be held responsible in the future, he was very impressed and took down the faluninfo.net website to get more information. Another woman was from Interfaith, a large NGO that represents multiple spiritual beliefs. She was very concerned about the persecution against women for their spiritual belief and was going to gather more information for a future article.
Although the sexual persecution of female Falun Gong practitioners in China was exposed in this meeting, it was just the tip of the iceberg, the truth will be revealed in full in the near future.
