(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners participated at a health fair from May 7-8, 2022 in Tampere, Finland. Practitioners talked about the benefits of Falun Dafa, and raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) ongoing persecution. Some locals thanked practitioners for the information, while others expressed an interest in learning the Falun Dafa exercises.
A Finnish woman stated that she was aware of the persecution of Falun Dafa, because she had seen practitioners peacefully protest at the Chinese embassy not long ago in Helsinki, Finland. The woman supports Falun Dafa practitioners and signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution.
Some Finnish residents who were not aware of the persecution were shocked upon learning about it. Some praised practitioners’ efforts, saying, “This is a very important issue.”
Some were attracted to the peaceful scene and joined the group to learn the exercises.
A Finnish man asked many questions of a practitioner. He wanted to understand more about the cultivation practice. He bought the book Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa.
The beautiful handmade lotuses at the booth also drew attention. A lady held up a lotus flower and asked to pronounce the Chinese characters of “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance”– Falun Dafa Hao, Zhen-Shan-Ren Hao. After a practitioner pointed at the Finnish translation of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, the lady understood right away and began reading fliers.
