(Minghui.org) Three practitioners from Madrid introduced Falun Dafa and taught the exercises at a summer camp at La Salle School on July 29, 2022. For children five and older, the camp offered many programs and activities. On the last day of camp, a Falun Dafa practitioner, who was a teacher at the camp, taught the children Falun Dafa’s five exercises
The children looked relaxed as they did the fourth exercise, Falun Cosmic Orbit. Though some had difficulty focusing during the exercises, many seemed happy and calm after doing the fifth exercise, the sitting meditation.
The children then watched the video “The Story of a Little Lotus Flower.” It is a story of a little lotus flower that manages to stay safe in dangerous situations with a heart filled with Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
After watching the video, the teachers asked the children what they had learned. Alfonso, who is 12, said, “We should avoid hurting people and not be lazy. We should always do good.”
Nikolas, the youngest child in the group, picked up a paper lotus flower and said, “I hope you can come alive!”
Every child received a lotus flower after the class. The teachers also reminded the children to recite “Falun Dafa is good” if they ran into dangerous situations.
Kevin, 16, said, “I have felt very empty during these past few years and did not know what the purpose of my life was. After practicing Falun Dafa, I know I should treasure life, and I regret having wasted my time in the past. I feel that I now have a healthy mind and body. I am very grateful for today’s class and will always seek to better myself.”
Alfonso enjoyed doing exercises and wanted to learn more online. “I want to learn to practice the exercises at the park. I like Falun Dafa,” he said.
