Shen Yun Performing Arts is the worlds premier Chinese dance and music company. Its productions are unmatched in their color, energy, depth, and poignancy.

A collaboration of leading artists from around the world, Divine Performing Arts (DPA) seeks to breathe new life into traditional Chinese culture and to provide an experience of sublime beauty. Its works seek to not only entertain, but also more broadly educate, enrich, and inspire.

The people of China once saw their culture as divinely bestowed. Our company name reflects that belief. Based in New York, DPA is a nonprofit organization that is consciously independent of Chinas communist regime, under which the traditional arts have suffered for decades.

Our companys rich repertory centers upon the authentic, inspired cultural heritage of classical China while also depicting the world around us. Each season DPA premieres more than a dozen dances, songs, and musical scores and tours to as many as twenty countries around the world.
