哑舅是我母亲的一个远房表弟。哑舅原来并不哑，5 岁那年得了一场
急病，病虽治好了，却再也不会说话了。
That time, I lived in the country, Yajiu always come to my house to help out with the work.
那时我家住在乡下，哑舅经常来我家帮助干活。
After the work was done, he would bring me to the field to catch grasshoppers, and to the river to watch small fishes. When I was a kid, many happy childhood times were accompanied by Yajiu.
干完活以后就带着我到田野里捉蚂蚱，到河边观小鱼----我小时候的许多欢乐时光都是在哑舅的陪伴下度过的。
Yajiu is honest, kind and very smart. He has a nice carpenter skill. Relatives and neighbours liked to ask him for help, and he was always silent, careful to do every task that they asked him to.
哑舅敦厚善良，也非常聪明，有一套漂亮的木匠手艺。亲戚邻居有
点什么活都喜欢请他帮忙，他总是默默的、精心的干好每件活。
Every day, Yajiu went out early in the morning and came back late in the evening, he travelled all over the surrounding mountains, helping villagers to do carpentry.
哑舅早出晚归，帮乡亲们做木工活，走遍了周围的山山水水。
People praised Yajiu’s carpentry skill and his good character. Even people from the city invited him to work.
人们纷纷夸赞哑舅的手艺和人品，连城里人都请他去干活。
Yajiu never got married at 40 years old because he was dumb.
After China’s reform and opening up, Yajiu carried his carpenter tools and went to Shanghai.
哑舅因为哑的原故，一直没有娶上媳妇，四十来岁还是一个人。
改革开放以后，哑舅背着他的木匠家什去了上海。
He always asked for a reasonable price for every carpentry task. He did every works with detailed and was fast, people praised him: "Dumb carpenter
honest and kind, good carpentry skill, and be rest assured to give him the work."
他一向价钱公道，活计精良仔细又交活快捷，人们称赞他：“哑木匠、
人厚道、活计好，找他做活放心。”
One day, Lao Zheng played Falun Gong exercise music in the shop. Suddenly, Yaqiu stopped his work; and looked at the tape recorder in trance, listening to the music quietly. Until the music ended, he still stood there. Lao Zheng asked: "What are you thinking?” Yaqiu with tears in his eyes, opened his mouth slightly, and said, "Tian". (Heaven) Lao Zheng understood Yajiu was trying to tell him that this was music from heaven!
一天，老郑在店堂里播放法轮功的炼功音乐，哑舅忽然停下手里的活，眼睛出神的看着录音机，静静的听啊、听啊。直到音乐结束了，他还站在那里。老郑看见，上前问道：“老弟啊，你在想什么呢？”只见哑舅两眼滴泪，微微开口，说了一个“天”字。老郑明白，他是想告诉自己，这是天上的音乐啊！
Lao Zheng led Yajiu into the living room, settled him down and opened the TV and VCR, and said to him kindly: "Buddy, try watching this."
老郑把哑舅领進屋里，安顿他坐下，打开了电视机和录像机，和善的对他说：“老弟啊，你再看看这个。”
The TV was playing lectures by Li Hongzhi video, Yajiu concentrated watching and listening to the lectures carefully.
电视里播放的是李洪志讲法录像，哑舅全神贯注的看着、听着，他好象全然忘了自己，目不转睛的盯着电视机┉┉
Until the video was finished, he stood up and said to Lao Zheng; "Falun Dafa is good!” A miracle happened; Yajiu could speak after 40 years!
直到录像看完了，他站起身，开口对老郑说了一句话；“法轮大法好！”
就这样，惊人的奇迹发生了，哑了四十年的哑舅会说话了！
Because of Yajiu's miracle, all my family members started to practise Falun Gong. Back in my home village, many kind folks have also therefore learn Dafa.
因为哑舅的神奇经历，我们全家人都炼了法轮功。老家乡下，更有
许多善良的乡亲们也因此修了大法。
In July 1999, the government started cracking down Falun Gong. Yajiu was the 1st Falun Gong practitioner in his area to go appealing for Falun Gong in Beijing.
99 年7 月开始镇压法轮功的时候，哑舅是当地第一个去北京为法轮功上访的人。
He was arrested, detained and tortured. After being released, to help everyone who had been deceived to see the truth, he went to Tiananmen Square, and shouted to the people "Falun Dafa is good!"
虽然被抓、被关、被折磨，放出来以后，他还是再去天安门，向人们喊着“法轮大法好！”
On his 5th time to Beijing, he was arrested and escorted back to the local detention centre by the police. He suffered a lot of hardships while in the detention centre.
他第五次到北京去被抓后，被当地公安押解回当地看守所，在看守所里吃了很多苦。
At the trial, Yajiu talked about his miracle and defended Falun Gong for more than an hour. All the people in court were struck by his story; no one could imagine he was once dumb.
开庭审判时，哑舅滔滔不绝的讲述大法给自己带来的神奇，为法轮功辩护了一个多小时。当庭所有的人，无不被他的故事所震撼，没人能想象他曾经是个哑巴。
Later, Yaqiu was illegally sentenced to forced labour camp. At the labour camp, he was forced to engage in hard labour.
后来，哑舅被非法判处劳教，在劳教所里被强迫从事苦力。
It was said while in the camp, Yajiu refused to write a guarantee to stop practicing Falun Gong and refused to attend brainwashing session. Thus, he was tortured continuously by several ferocious disciplinary guards for several hours.
从里面传出的消息说，哑舅因为拒绝写不炼功的保证书、拒绝参加所里的洗脑班，被几个凶恶的管教拖去动大刑，连续折磨了十几个小时。
He was only admitted to hospital after his life was endangered, but it was too late.
后来因出现生命危险，才被送進医院抢救，但为时已晚。
My mother was angered after seeing Yaqiu’s corpse. On his chest, there were 5 deep burns caused by electrical batons. His waist and legs were black and purple due to beatings. His big hip was broken on 1 leg. Blood was all over his beyond recognition face.
母亲含着悲愤去看了哑舅的遗体，他遍体鳞伤，前胸有四、五个被电棍电焦的深坑，腰和腿被打成黑紫色，一条腿的大胯被打断，满脸是血，看不出面容。
The labour camp and police refused my mother’s request to claim back Yaqiu’s body. The next day, Yaqiu’s dead body was cremated secretly.
劳教所和公安局拒绝了母亲领回哑舅遗体的请求，第二天秘密的把遗体火化了。
Yaqiu left us tragically; I started to tell all good people the truth about Falun Gong, and the story about Yaqiu.
Rest assured, Yaqiu, the whole world knows that Falun Dafa is good!
哑舅悲壮的走了，我开始向所有善良的人讲述法轮功的真象，向他们讲述哑舅的故事。
放心吧，哑舅，现在全世界都知道法轮大法好!
Dear friend, do you know that people in over 114 countries practice Falun Gong? In countries outside of China, Falun Gong isn’t persecuted, and in fact has received more than 2000 awards and recognitions for its great virtue.
朋友，您知道吗？从1992年5月开始，到2010年底为止，法轮功已经传到114多个国家，在那里人们都可以自由自在的炼功，而且法轮功在世界上接受的褒奖已经有2000多项，被誉为“高德大法”呢。
n China, since 20 Jul 1999 , Falun Gong is defamed, slandered and persecuted due to Jiang Zemin’s jealousy of Falun Gong’s rapidly growing popularity.
Many people believed the government’s slanderous media propaganda and hated Falun Gong.
Since then, many Falun Gong practitioners have gone to Tiananmen Square and other places, telling people about the beauty of Falun Dafa and appealing to stop the persecution of Falun Gong.
可是，在中国，从1999年7月20日开始，江泽民因为妒忌法轮功人数众多，对法轮功恶毒的诽谤与迫害，社会上很多人听信了共产党媒体的宣传和煽动，对法轮功产生了很深的误解与仇恨。也是从那时起，经常有法轮大法弟子走上天安门广场、走上大街小巷，告诉人们法轮大法的美好，呼吁制止迫害。
The most despicable was the so-called “self-immolation” incident staged in January 2001, which was reported worldwide to frame Falun Gong.
最为恶劣的，是在2001年1月导演了一场所谓的“自焚”闹剧，并通过新华社以从未有过的速度向全世界散播，嫁祸法轮功。
The incident is criticized by various international organizations, including United Nations NGO International Education & Development Agency in Geneva, as a government-staged action to deceive people.
这场闹剧，后被包括服务于联合国的国际教育发展组织（IED）在内的多个国际组织认定为虚假编造。
Evidences show tens of thousands of practitioners had been harvested for their organs while they were alive. The organs were sold at huge profits. The practitioners' murdered bodies were cremated quickly and secretly.
更令全世界震惊的是，中共对成千上万的法轮功学员进行了惨无人道的活摘器官，牟取暴利焚尸灭迹，
这一滔天罪行被国际独立调查团称为“这个星球上从未有过的邪恶。”
