Song: Awakening from the Dream

WATCH Song: Awakening from the Dream

Composed by Zhiping Kolouch, Lyricist by Ming Jing, Arrangement by Tony, Performed by Soprano Min Jiang
Born into the world time and again, thousands of years,
For what possibly would one come so many times?
Fame and wealth—but wisps of smoke are these,
’Tis the heavens that govern life’s vicissitudes.
Divine, above, was each life at first breath,
Success and failure pass here like but fleeting clouds.
Our ordeals have reasons, each just, from before,
May we gain the way, and awaken from the dream—
To scale the heights of the deep azure sky!

Iranian Ghazal Tavanaei raises awareness about Falun Gong in UAE

Iranian Girl: “I’ve Found the Meaning of Life.”

July 25, 2015 | By Ruosi

(Minghui.org) “In 2011, when I was almost 18, I read the book Zhuan Falun, and decided to cultivate Falun Gong. It was the best birthday gift ever,” Ghazal Tavanaiei, an Iranian girl, said to the Minghui correspondent.

Ghazal lives in Dubai with her parents and sister. In 2007, her father obtained a copy of Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Gong, and started his journey of cultivating Falun Gong.
Ghazal said, “Perhaps a lot of outsiders thought that Iranians live in a closed society. But actually many Iranians are open to practices like Falun Gong, which improve one’s mind and body. Many people in Iran believe that the teaching of Falun Gong, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, is great.”
She told the Minghui correspondent about the great changes she experienced after she started practicing Falun Gong.
“I’ve become less greedy, and more considerate for others,” she said, “I’ve found the meaning of life.”
“I often had fights with my sister. Now, she sometimes asks me how come I don’t fight with her anymore.”
“Many peers of mine in college smoke, drink, and get crazy at parties. People can tell that I am different. I keep away from cigarettes and alcohol, and I obey moral principles. When people ask for the reason, I tell them that I cultivate Falun Dafa.”
In May 2015, Ghazal came to New York City for a Falun Gong cultivation experience sharing conference, where she heard about the project “Ride to Freedom.” A group of young Falun Gong practitioners, ranging in ages from 13 to 25, planned to ride bicycles from Los Angeles to Washington DC, to raise public awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in China, and call for help in rescuing the Chinese orphans whose parents have been tortured to death during the persecution.
Ghazal decided to join the riders. Last week, she and 20-some fellow practitioners from multiple countries finished the 3000-mile journey in 45 days.
“What touched me the most during the ride was the support we got from the American society,” Ghazal said, “I remember that an assistant to the mayor of an American town cried after we told her about the persecution.”
“It was also a great chance for me to cultivate,” she said.
Ghazal is not athletic, nor had she any training in bicycling. But she and her fellows encouraged each other, and persisted despite the storms and hot weather.
“We rode during the daytime, and camped outside at night. If it wasn’t for the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, which encourages us to be selfless and consider others, it would be really difficult for 20 some youths from different cultural backgrounds to finish the ‘Ride to Freedom.’”
When asked about her future plans, 21-year old Ghazal said that her dream was to make a documentary to tell people what Falun Gong really is. Film making is her major in college.

(Ghazal Tavanaiei)

Stop Harassing My Mom and What Would I Say to President Trump?

I was told that my mom was harassed in China again recently. With the approach of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the party is so nervous that they had the leader of my mom’s former workplace give a warning to her, who has retired long ago and is only a harmless lady of 75 years old.
They required my mother to pass on their messages to me: Don’t come into contact with President Donald J. Trump, don’t do anything that will harm the party and the homeland, and support the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China so that the congress can be held and finished smoothly.
It seems to me that the spy network of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in the United States is not working that properly and efficiently. Have I ever had any channels to set up any contact with President Donald J. Trump? Oh, I wish I could! If I were really capable of getting into contact with him, I would:
  1. Give him a copy of “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party,” and let him know that the CCP is the real enemy and the biggest terrorist in the world. As the leader of the free world, he should definitely read this book and see the CCP for what it is.
  2. Give him a copy of “An Update to Bloody Harvest & The Slaughter” and remind him that the U.S. Congress has unanimously passed House Resolution 343 to express concern over China’s organ procurement from non-consenting prisoners of conscience, including from “large numbers of Falun Gong practitioners and members of other religious and ethnic minority groups.”
I’d like to remind him that another type of genocide is still happening in China. It once took a long time for the world to believe the existence of Auschwitz, and the world once vowed “Never Again.” Unfortunately, lessons have not been learned, and a new form of evil has been happening for more than a decade in China, where masses of people have been killed on demand for their organs.
  1. Give him a copy of my memoir “Witnessing History: one woman’s fight for freedom and Falun Gong,” and a DVD of the award-winning documentary “Free China: the courage to believe,” which features my story.
I would like to tell him that countless numbers of my innocent fellow Falun Gong practitioners are still suffering what I once suffered in the labor camp for their belief in the principles of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance.” Many of them are forced to do slave labor, and the cheap products have been exported to the world, including the United States. This has been hurting local industries of many countries, including the United States.
It is a pity that I don’t see any chance for me to get close to President Trump. It is ridiculous that my mom in China has been groundlessly harassed for what I have not done and will not have any chance to do. So, I am writing this article, in a hope that the mighty internet could help, and that somehow the above messages of mine can reach the president, or at least to his assistants and staff. My readers, if you have any channels, please do help. Otherwise, wouldn’t my mom be harassed for nothing?
