In addition to providing a fun activity for children, the lotus workshop helps children learn about Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. As they fold the origami, practitioners teach them the benefits of living according to these values by reading a children’s book written by practitioners titled A Lotus Tale.
(Minghui.org) The eighth “Hello, Health!” festival was held in Stara Zagora, known as the City of Linden Trees and Poets, on October 11 and 12, 2025. Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) practitioners from different parts of Bulgaria participated in the event to introduce their spiritual practice to the public. The organizers of the festival issued a certificate of participation to Falun Dafa to express gratitude for its contribution to the health and unity of Bulgaria.
The festival was held on the restored ruins of the ancient forum Augusta Traiana, which began its construction during the reign of Marcus Aurelius, from 161 to 180 A.D. During his reign, he also constructed many straight streets, which earned the ancient city the nickname of “city of straight streets and linden trees.”
Many people were interested in Falun Dafa. Practitioners distributed leaflets to visitors and did the exercises near the workshop tent. On Sunday, the practitioners conducted a special exercise tutorial for a group of attendees who signed up in advance.
The booth with the information stand and banners was located in a high-traffic area, with a continuous flow of attendees on both days. A small table at the booth displayed Bulgarian copies of Falun Dafa books—Zhuan Falun and Falun Gong—along with other informational materials.

This is the third time this book has been presented at this festival, and some children recognized it and Falun Dafa’s values. Many of them were happy to see practitioners, exclaiming, “I have this book from last time, it’s very nice!”
