[The Epoch Times] Letter to Editor: Thank You for Publishing ‘How Humankind Came To Be’

In so many ways I want to thank The Epoch Times for the gift of features and subjects that make such great reading—refreshing, balanced, and weekly!

“How Humankind Came To Be” by Mr. Li Hongzhi, founder of the spiritual discipline Falun Gong, was so well done in just so many ways. For me, it strengthened my Christian faith and I found many similarities in Mr. Li Hongzhi’s view of life as in mine. As fallen as the Earth is with our “original sin,” like “the Word” in the Bible, Mr. Li Hongzhi offers a clear way out of our mess and to rise above our fleshly ways, which are clearly bringing humanity to its knees. Hatred itself is the cancer that threatens the survival of the species. The only antidote is spiritual. The only medicine is love.

Two thousand years ago our Creator, God, sent his Son, Jesus, sinless and pure yet of man, to walk among us and show the way back to our real home with our one true Father. Whether it’s Christianity or Falun Gong, we’d do well to follow the essence of the messages being offered. We are fallen, but there is a way out and we’d do well to deepen our spiritual focus in such matters and follow our Creator’s gifts of insight and truth for this world, planet Earth.
