(Minghiu.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held activities in Iași on June 25, 2023, and in Bucharest on July 1, 2023. They introduced Falun Dafa, told people about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution, and the benefits of the ancient cultivation practice.
In Iași, a college town in eastern Romania, practitioners set up an information booth near Palas Mall, while in Bucharest practitioners set up a booth at the entrance of Drumul Taberei Park. They demonstrated the exercises, distributed calendars, informational brochures, and handmade paper lotus flowers.
Many people learned about Falun Dafa and the persecution during these activities. They expressed their respect for the values of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, their sympathy for those being persecuted by the CCP, and wished them good luck.
Medical Student: “I Think Very Highly of This Practice.”
Diana, a 21-year-old medical student, said that she believes Falun Dafa will bring changes to society. “I respect those people who have the courage to take a stand for these values. I’m glad they have shown the world that it needs to be different, and I wish them success,” she said.
“I think very highly of this practice and what you are doing,” she said. “I’m a medical student. Every day, I see people frustrated and dissatisfied with the system. I see more and more stressed people around me, especially in college. I think your exercises will help people calm down and see what’s important in life.”
Students Encourage Practitioners in China to Stay Firm
Two philosophy students, Marina and Elena, stopped to talk with practitioners and learn about Falun Dafa. Marina said that she’s heard that people in China have no freedom under the CCP’s rule. She was saddened to hear such a peaceful practice is persecuted.
Elena wants to tell practitioners in China, “Stay firm and strong! Remember that kind people around the world are trying to help.”
Retired Design Engineer: “Falun Dafa Will Lead People Back to Traditions”
Maria Moldoveanu, a 75-year-old retired design engineer, said that she had witnessed how society increasingly drifted away from traditional values and that instead of pursuing fulfilling lives, many young people had been misled to compete for personal gain, which harms their mental and physical health.
Ms. Moldoveanu hopes to see Falun Dafa’s principles spread further on social media so that they can reach more young people and help them break free from negative influences. “Social media has the power to reach more people. You practitioners have beautiful thoughts and exemplary behavior, which are needed to encourage respect for morality.”
Ms. Moldoveanu took several brochures and lotus flowers to share with her family and friends.

A Teenager Respects Falun Dafa’s Values
Fourteen-year-old Ionuț has strong feelings about Communism. He said that the Communist ideology was completely opposite to moral values, and that’s why he wasn’t surprised to hear the CCP persecutes Falun Dafa.
“I know that Communism has established authoritarian regimes that force people to give up different beliefs and different values from its own. “People who really believe in God share these three values—Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. And even if there are people who don’t have them, they can change so that they respect them,” he said. “I think the truth is most important because lying is the worst thing. A man who is tolerant is a good man.”
That day, Ionuț was looking after his two younger cousins. He brought them to the booth, and practitioners showed them the exercises.
A Lotus Flower That Brings Good Luck
Ștefania works at a kindergarten. A co-worker gave her a paper lotus flower with Falun Dafa’s principles printed on it and told her to keep it. When she searched the Internet for details about what was written on the flower, she said she felt a very comforting energy flow in her body. Ștefania said she’s experienced many good things since then.
Ștefania has kept the lotus flower in her handbag wherever she goes. She happened to pass by the Falun Dafa information booth in Bucharest on July 1 and told practitioners how she learned about Falun Dafa. Practitioners gave her a children’s book, The Lotus Story, for her five-year-old, as well as informational calendars and lotus flowers for her family.
