During the one-day event, many passersby stopped at the Falun Dafa booth to chat with practitioners. They learned that Falun Dafa is beneficial to one’s health and that Falun Dafa is persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in China. Many people expressed support for Falun Dafa and the Falun Dafa practitioners who are still facing suppression and persecution in China due to their steadfast belief.
(Minghui.org) Gdynia in Poland held its annual non-government picnic event on June 18, 2023, and Falun Dafa practitioners took the opportunity to introduce the practice to the event participants.
This was the second time practitioners have participated in this event. They set up a booth beside the seaside promenade with posters and display boards introducing Falun Dafa for passersby to read. The booth also had fliers in many different languages, copies of “Compassion” magazine, Polish versions of the “Nine Commentaries” and a petition that will be submitted to the Polish Government for people to sign.
As the event gradually picked up speed, an announcer walked over to every booth with a microphone, asking the booth stewards to introduce their activities.
Marcin Klebba, coordinator of the Poland Falun Dafa Association, gave a brief introduction of Falun Dafa, its five exercises, and how the principles (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) can help to improve a cultivator’s mind and body.

A Young Man Tries Falun Dafa
The practitioners helped a passerby, who had been interested in learning qigong, to learn Falun Dafa. The young man Krzysztof had been passing the booth on his bike when he saw a practitioner teaching the exercises. He then stopped at the booth.
He told practitioners that he has been searching for a qigong cultivation practice that suits him and has decided to learn Falun Dafa.
At the event venue, Krzysztof did the Falun Dafa exercises with two ladies, Beata and Magda. He then signed the “Urge the Poland government to take measures to resist the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa” petition. He also took a flier introducing Dafa and information about the local practice site.
The next day, Krzysztof went to the practice site and practiced the exercises with practitioners.
Making Another Paper Lotus Flower
Practitioners provided an opportunity for passersby to make paper lotus flowers at the booth. Many children participated in the activity. As the children learned how to make paper lotus flowers, their parents would talk to practitioners and learn more about Falun Dafa and sign the petition.
A woman recognized a practitioner who had participated in the Falun Dafa booth last year. The woman returned to the booth to make a paper lotus flower to express her support for Falun Dafa.
