(Minghui.org) Ms. Guo Qianhua will never forget July 16, 2000 – the day she learned Falun Dafa. Looking back, she feels like it was like a birthday for her. Soon after practicing, all of her long-standing illnesses disappeared!
Twenty Years of Chronic Illness Healed Through Practicing Falun Dafa
Ms. Guo is 48 years old this year. When she was in her 20’s, Ms. Guo was diagnosed with endometriosis. She often fainted during her menstrual periods due to excruciating pain and was unable to go to work. She tried Chinese and Western medicine, but nothing worked. She underwent surgery without success. This condition continued to interfere with her life for many more years.

The Secret to Having a Healthy Family
Witnessing his wife’s dramatic health changes, Ms. Guo’s husband started to practice Falun Dafa as well. He had lung problems which caused frequent coughing up of blood. The problem went away after he became a practitioner. After that, his sister also started to learn Falun Dafa.
Ms. Guo’s daughter often had fevers and inflamed tonsils. She was allergic to a particular Western medication that she tried and always vomited after taking it. Ms. Guo had to spend a lot of money for Chinese medicine. Her daughter joined her parents and began to practice Falun Dafa. One night she had a high fever, but the next morning she still went to the practice site to do the exercises. After that, her temperature returned to normal, and she has not had another fever since – for over ten years now.
Falun Dafa teaches people to improve their character and look within when conflicts arise. After they became practitioners, Ms. Guo’s family no longer argued like they used to. Ms. Guo worked in her sister’s garment factory. Before she became a practitioner, she did not like coworkers criticizing her when her products were returned. However, after learning Falun Dafa, she tried to look within and see if there was something she did wrong. Finally, she realized that she was trying to show off – that she wanted to prove that she could do the work faster than others – and that she was ignoring the quality of what she produced. After realizing her shortcoming, the conflict at work resolved, and the quality of her work improved as her character improved.
Letting More People Know the Facts about Falun Dafa
Ms. Guo established a practice site in 2003, hoping more people could learn Falun Dafa. She often joins activities in Hong Kong to clarify the facts about the persecution of Falun Dafa in China. Sometimes Chinese tourists ask her, “How much do you get paid to distribute fliers here?” Ms. Guo tells them, “I came here on a vacation day and I am not paid. I want to raise awareness of the persecution and the need for justice for Falun Dafa. My only hope is that people can wake up from the Chinese regime’s lies and propaganda.”
