Practitioners introduced to the locals that Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is an ancient practice and improves physical and mental health. They demonstrated the five calming and peaceful exercises.
(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners from Mexico introduced Falun Dafa to people at the annual fair in San Agustín Tlaxco on August 20, 2023. People learned about Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. Some people were very interested in learning to practice Falun Dafa.
San Agustín Tlaxco, located in central Mexico, is a center of livestock farming and the production of cheese and other dairy products. Practitioners introduced to the locals that Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is an ancient practice and improves physical and mental health. They demonstrated the five calming and peaceful exercises. The organizer and visitors thanked the practitioners for bringing such precious information. They accepted the informational materials and began to read them. They became very interested in Falun Dafa.
A businessman and his wife noticed the practitioners demonstrating exercises on the stage. They followed the practitioners to learn the exercise movements. The wife said, “I like it very much. I felt strong energy.” The husband inquired about how to practice the cultivation system. He said he would share the informational materials with his entire family.
Mr. Gilberto and members of the dance troupe of danzón (a popular Mexican dance) took part in the celebration at the fair. When Gilberto saw practitioners demonstrating the exercises, he expressed his interest in practicing Falun Dafa. A practitioner gave him a booklet showing nearby practice sites and online teaching classes listed, for which he was very grateful.
Practitioners played the waist drums at the fair. During the performance, a woman excitedly told a practitioner that she liked the waist drum performance very much and thought it was “the sound of nature.”
