Persecution in China>>>Death — Mr. Song Wanxue (Huangshi City, Hubei Province) — Suspected victim of CCP’s forced organ harvesting

When Mr. Song’s younger brother saw his body, he found that his skull was broken; his arms, legs, and ribs were fractured; and there were stitched wounds on his chest and back where his heart, liver, and kidneys had been removed. The police also cremated the body against his family’s wishes.

1. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Investigation and Verification Concerning Mr. Song Wanxue Who Was Tortured to Death at the Huangshi Second Detention Center

Mr. Song Wanxue, 45 years old, was employed by the Fengshan Copper Mine in Huangshi City. In October 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Afterwards he was escorted by Liu Jianguo, head of the security section of the Fengshan Copper Mine, to the Huangshi Second Detention Center and was detained there for 15 days.

In November 2000, Mr. Song went to Beijing to appeal again. After he got home, the mine did not allow him to work and forced him to report to the security section of the Daye Nonferrous Metal Company. On January 20, 2001, Liu Jianguo transferred him from the security section of the Daye Nonferrous Metal Company to the Huangshi Second Detention Center. On January 22, 2001, he died as a result of torture in the detention center.
